THE CHALLENGE
Make a customizable backend that our clients at Willow Creek Dexters can easily navigate and add custom content to, without compromising the overall art direction of the website. Taking special interest in the family's values as a whole was just as important, so their natural personalities could come through to the user.
SETTING THE MOOD
We started with many possible art directions for such a fun and unique website. Once we paid more homage to the land itself, while really focusing on the words Quality, Heritage and Sustainability, we found our true path. We believe we successfully encompassed what Willow Creek Dexters represents.
HIGHLIGHTING CURRENT
EVENTS
When it comes to selling cattle and other livestock, the Jacksons chose to keep things simpler than a full e-commerce site. They still wanted easy access as a client to update the availability of animals. With so many things moving on a farmstead all the time, we wanted to make sure the Jacksons had a good user experience to broadcast and show off all the fun things going on in REAL time.
CUSTOM LOGO & GRAPHICS
We had our in-house graphic designer go loose on creating unique and beautiful icons to compliment our “hand-drawn” feel throughout the site, creating a cohesive flow of the same inspired hand.
FINAL PRODUCT
An extremely user and business friendly website that will continue to grow as the family does, with an established and unique brand in the world of farmsteads. We also have a very happy family that can't wait to keep a wide audience entertained and very knowledgeable about Dexter Cattle.
